Background

Hey guys,

My Name is Chelsea Wilson and I am 17 years old. I have been around gymnastics for as long as i can remember. I have moved gyms so much thought my career, but it was the best for me at the times to do it. I thank every coach that i ever had, because they each taught me something so important. I started gymnastics when I was 6 years old at Gymnastics Unlimited. in Wilmington. North Carolina. I stayed there up until i was 8 then moved to Carolina Gymnastics also in Wilmington, North Carolina. I moved to Carolina because the coach I had at Gym Unlimited held me back drastically. I stayed there for the longest time. Up until level 5 I believe then moved to the last gym in Wilmington known as Coastal Tumble Gym, I moved their because all my teammates quit, and some went to Coastal, because of some the coaches at Carolina. I was forever at Coastal Tumble Gym, but i moved by the time i reached level 7 because i was ready to move up levels Higher. When I moved gyms AGAIN i was 10 years old and moved to Gymnastics Inc, where i met the most hardest coach's ever. When moving to gymnastics inc in 5th grade my coach told me in order to be the best gymnast i could be i needed to be homeschooled so we listened to him . I went to gymnastics 5 days a week 2 times a day. We began practice at 7:30 until 11:30 then did school from 11:30 until 4. Then immediately back to practice from 4 until 8. After practice my mom and i would travel an hour and 15 minutes til we reach home. I started getting injuries after injury training this much, but i never gave up cause my love i have built up for this sport couldn't be destroyed from some retarded injury. Gymnastics after my first injury started getting harder, cause i kept getting more, and i started going through a funk, AND I thought i wanted to quit. So I took some time off, and well taking that time off i checked out another gym in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Gymnastics and More. I stayed there for the rest of my Career. From 11 till i was 16. Louie was the best coach for me. I trained a lot there as well, but he made sure i was strong. but then towards the end of my gymnastics, home had some financially issues, and i felt a bit guilty. Cause with all this training my brother barely had a life, cause he was constantly with me watching me, supporting me. and this is where is story began. and 5 months ago i had reconstruction shoulder surgery. band they finally gave me the go ahead to start back what i love. But this is just a little summary of my background. I will keep everyone updated about my workouts and dreams.

I will succeed<3
I wont give up until i know i have reached my goal <3
I am me, and I am more determined then ever <3

I want to thank my family for everything they have done with me, and put up with. From all the emotions, from failing, falling, giving up, and more.
